Recovery Pathways is a specialist Private Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing facility based in Kumasi and accredited by HEFRA. It is run by a team of experts led by Dr. Ruth Owusu-Antwi who is a senior specialist Psychiatrist and a fellow of the Ghana college of physicians and surgeons, faculty of Psychiatry.
Dr. Ruth Owusu-Antwi, brings to bear on our services, her expertise as the immediate past head of the Psychiatry Unit at KATH and senior lecturer with the school of medicine and Dentistry at KNUST. She has won several international awards in the field of mental and emotional wellbeing, including her award as the international fellow of the World Association of women Psychiatrist for 2019,and the Millenium Excellence Award 2025 in recognition of her work towards women mental health. She is a prolific conference speaker and an astute researcher with research interest areas including Mental wellbeing of young people, Gender-based Violence (GBV) and Mental health in emergency/ crises situation.
